Pasina

This video was made by Wayana community researchers from Atecume Pata in French Guyana who were inspired by the self-help and good governance principles of the Indigenous communities of the North Rupununi, Guyana.

Since they didn’t feel there was sufficient leadership in their village, the researchers decided to form their own club, called Pasina after the name of a small local fish in Wayana.

This film was made as part of Project Cobra funded by the European Commission.
