Community owned solutions are about recognising that local people are best placed to come up with the answers to their own development and conservation challenges. Promoting community owned solutions builds confidence and pride, and helps strengthen local knowledge and community action. They can be recorded and shared through participatory and arts-based methods such as video, photography, drawings, theatre and storytelling.

This website exists to showcase and learn from local communities worldwide on what they think about current social and environmental challenges and how they are responding to them. Over time, we aim to assemble content that can be used more widely by communities and practitioners in order to inspire and educate.
