Indigenous video declaration of the Guiana Shield

In September 2014, several Indigenous leaders and community members from across different countries of the Guiana Shield, South America, came together in a film festival to share experiences, challenges and lessons on biocultural heritage.

This video presents the views of different Indigenous groups on the importance of sharing community owned solutions through participatory video.

This film was made by researchers of the North Rupununi District Development Board, Guyana as part of Project Cobra funded by the European Commission.
