Iwokrama response video to North Rupununi communities

As part of a process of video-mediated dialogue between protected areas managers and Indigenous communities in Guyana, participatory videos made on traditional knowledge and current relationships between the parties, were screened to staff of the Iwokrama International Centre and the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples Affairs.

This video documents the response of Iwokrama and Ministry staff to the community videos. It was made by researcher Sean Mendonca of the Environmental Protection Agency, and is part of the Traditional Knowledge in Conservation project funded by the Darwin Initiative, UK.

This video was then taken back to communities for feedback and to continue the dialogue.
